Embraer, a Brazilian-based aircraft manufacturer, is doubling its maintenance service capacity in the U.S. to support the country’s growing customer base.
The expansion comes in the form of three new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities, located at Dallas Love Field in Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; and Sanford, Florida. Embraer currently operates three other company-owned MRO facilities in Mesa, Arizona; Melbourne, Florida; and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“We are pleased to offer additional service locations for our customers as we will significantly expand the capacity, capability, and footprint of our MRO network in the USA,” says Frank Stevens, vice president of MRO services for Embraer services and support. “Our Executive jets fleet has been growing rapidly over the last several years as strong demand continues across the entire product portfolio.
This expansion will provide immediate additional capacity and ensures that we are poised to care for our valued customers and strategically grow for many years to come.”
Service is expected to begin at the new facilities in the second quarter of 2024, Embraer says.
In addition to the new MRO locations, Embraer operates 24 authorized service centers in the U.S. and is increasing its mobile response network by 28 teams.
