Bombardier is actively expanding its service network in Australia with a new Line Maintenance Station (LMS) in Perth, with plans for a second facility in Sydney later this year.

According to the company, the Perth LMS brings its worldwide LMS presence up to 10 unique locations. Particularly in Australia, Bombardier operates Mobile Response Trucks in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Pending regulatory approval, Bombardier is eyeing Sydney for its next LMS later in 2025.

“The addition of the Perth Line Maintenance Station is an integral part of our overall mission to enhance OEM support for our customers in Australia,” says Paul Sislian, EVP of aftermarket services and strategy for Bombardier. “We are delighted to be offering our customers expanded support, more resources and increased flexibility closer to their base of operations.”

Bombardier previously opened its Melbourne Service Center in 2022, which offers nearly 50,000 ft.² of hangar and ramp space—enough to accommodate three Global 7500 aircraft. The company’s operations in Australia join its global network of facilities, including distribution hubs in Chicago, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Singapore.

As part of its promotion in the Australian region, Bombardier’s Defense and Customer Services and Support teams will be attending the Avalon Airshow in Melbourne, Australia from March 25-30, 2025.
