AJW Group has signed a deal with avionics giant Honeywell to become the sole distributor of its air data inertial reference unit (ADIRU) PN HG2050BC04 found on later generation Boeing 737NG and 737 MAX aircraft.
Under the terms of the agreement, AJW will distribute the new production build ADIRU for all Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. It will be available for all initial provisioning and purchasing requirements for operators and service providers.
AJW will store the inventory across its global facilities and says this will complement existing 737 MRO services it offers.
At its Montreal, Canada-based maintenance division AJW Technique, the company carries out repairs on multiple Honeywell products, is likely to grow capabilities to offer complete support on the Airbus ADIRU platform.
In addition to the 737 also provides services for A320 and 787 ADIRU platforms.
