FEDEX WRITING OFF ITS $9 MILLION INVESTMENT AND DEPOSITS IN THE AYRES LOADMASTER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
FedEx is writing off its $9 million investment and deposits in the Ayres Loadmaster development program, the small package carrier said last week. FedEx was the launch customer for the twin-engine, single-propeller cargo aircraft, but Ayres Aircraft encountered financial problems.
