SINGAPORE—ST Engineering has unveiled the EagleStrike loitering munition at the Singapore Airshow, offering the system as a tactical strike option for ground forces operating in increasingly contested environments.

Chua Jin Kiat, ST Engineering's executive vice president of its international defense business, says the system reflects evolving battlefield requirements for survivability, mobility and organic firepower, as the Singaporean defense prime expands its portfolio of small uncrewed systems for land forces.

EagleStrike is a vehicle-launched, propeller-driven loitering munition equipped with a commercially available electro-optical sensor paired with ST Engineering’s in-house developed engagement algorithms. The system has a stated range of 20 km (12 mi.) and endurance of up to 30 min., with a maximum speed of around 30 m/sec (67 mph).

Jackson Tean, also from the company’s international business unit, tells Aviation Week that EagleStrike carries a 200 g (7 oz.) dual-mode shaped charge warhead. The payload can be customized, leveraging ST Engineering’s broader munitions and warhead design capabilities, he adds.

Flight testing of the system began in 2025 at an undisclosed location. Tean says the munition has demonstrated “sharp” accuracy, although no performance data has been disclosed. The system is currently assessed at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7, indicating demonstration in an operational environment. A potential swarming concept will be among the next stage of developments.

There has yet to be any launch customer for the EagleStrike, however Chua said separately that the mission of ST Engineering remains to support the needs of the Singapore Armed Forces, and through its interaction with international armies, draw lessons and requirements to develop marketable and capable weapon systems.
