Raytheon Wins Radar Upgrade For USMC F/A-18s

Raytheon will install the APG-79(v)4 radar on the U.S. Marine Corps’ remaining Boeing F/A-18C/Ds by 2022 as a final capability upgrade before the fleet is replaced by Lockheed Martin F-35Bs and F-35Cs after 2027. The scaled-down version of the APG-79 radar now installed in F/A-18E/F Block II...
