Curtiss-Wright To Supply Smoke Detectors For Boeing

Boeing chose Curtiss-Wright to provide cargo hold smoke detectors for Boeing's 747-400 freighter conversion program. Curtiss-Wright is a major supplier of aircraft fire detection and suppression systems, and will fill the Boeing contract from its integrated sensing operations in Irwindale, Calif.
