African Bizav Association Names Chair, Vice Chair

The African Business Aviation Association has elected Dawit Lemma as chair of the organization and Craig Middleton as its vice chair and treasurer.

Lemma is founder and CEO of Krimson Aviation Holdings, an aviation service provider based in Ethiopia with offices in Malta. The company has operations in more than 30 countries, and includes services in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He has a background in aircraft ground handling, maintenance, aviation business development and operational excellence. He also is a licensed commercial pilot and an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant mechanic.

Lemma also serves as a board director of the Women in Aviation International, is a board member of ISBAH within the International Business Aviation Council and is the Africa lead for the International Operators Committee of the National Business Aviation Association.

Middleton is the director of sales and account management at General Aviation Services (G.A.S.) and aviation and hotel director for Bequia Air. He also has served as EMEA regional operations director at Universal Aviation and has held roles at Oxygen Aviation, Starflight Aviation, Midwest Executive Aviation and Signature Flight Support.
