VIP Completions Earns MIP Designation

VIP Completions has received a Maintenance Implementation Procedures (MIP) designation and unveiled its first serialized supplemental type certificate (SSTC) project for a Canadian client. The MIP allows VIP Completions to operate on aircraft registered in the U.S. and in Canada. The company’s first Canadian client included a fully refurbished Bombardier Global 5500, receiving interior upgrades. According to the company, Canadian aircraft can now be serviced at its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

ExecuJet MRO Services’ Australasian operation marked its 25th anniversary in October, providing business-aviation services across Australia, New Zealand and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The Australasian operation began in Sydney in 2000 and has since grown into a multi-facility regional network.

Greenpoint Technologies Delivers BBJ 787

Greenpoint Technologies announced its on-time delivery of a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 787, following a maintenance and refurbishment program. According to Greenpoint, the aircraft received multiple cabin modifications and interior upgrades at its modification facility in Moses Lake, Washington. The completion reflects the company’s expanding maintenance capabilities and experience with V-VIP BBJ 787 clients, officials say.

Tecnam Delivers P2006T NG To Canavia Flight Training

Tecnam Aircraft announced its delivery of a new P2006T NG to Canavia Flight Training, a flight training organization based in the Canary Islands. The delivery marks the third P2006T in Canavia’s fleet of 13 aircraft, 10 of which are made by Tecnam. The delivery also serves as the first next-generation model to be delivered to the Canary Islands, according to Tecnam. The flight school’s fleet is dedicated primarily to airline transport pilot license training.

Jet Out Adds Nine Aircraft To Fleet

Jet Out announced the addition of nine Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen 2 aircraft to its fleet. The aircraft will join the company’s existing fleet of eight Citation CJ4 Gen 2 aircraft. According to Jet Out, the company has taken delivery of three aircraft this year and expects three more before the end of 2025. Additionally, six firm orders are scheduled for delivery in 2026, bringing the total to 17 CJ4 Gen 2 aircraft by the end of 2026. Two of the newly delivered aircraft will be based at Jet Out’s Dallas-Fort Worth base.

Jettax Holdings To Acquire Aviation Financial Consulting

Jettax Holdings announced plans to acquire Aviation Financial Consulting (AFC), a U.S.-based aviation tax and consulting firm. According to Jettax Holdings, the transaction is expected to close in early 2026 and will increase AFC’s capacity to serve the growing industry. As part of the acquisition, AFC will continue operating as an independent business unit.

Bombardier Delivers First Challenger 3500 To AB Jets

AB Jets accepted delivery of its first Bombardier Challenger 3500, joining its fleet of nine Learjet 60 aircraft. According to Bombardier, the aircraft is the first of three the company plans to add to its charter fleet. The super mid-size business jet offers a range of 3,400 nm. with seating for up to 10 passengers. The aircraft also features Bombardier’s patented Nuage zero gravity seats, situated in the widest cabin in its aircraft class.

Yingling Aviation Completes First Winglet Installation On Falcon 900

Yingling Aviation has completed its first winglet installation on a Dassault Falcon 900. The installation involved reinforcing ribs and a 12 ft. strap install on both wings, the company said. Aviation Partners Trainer Harley Howell credits Yingling Aviation’s sheet metal team for its performance, citing “zero mis-drilled holes, zero engineering changes and exceptional attention to the engineering drawings.” As a result of the winglet upgrade, the Falcon 900 features improved aerodynamic performance, according to Yingling.

Portside, Levo.Aero Partner On Product Services

Levo.Aero and Portside are partnering to bring Levo.Aero’s proprietary AI tool to customers using Portside’s private aviation management system, BART. The integration will allow BART customers to market their aircraft and empty legs on Levo.Aero’s B2C platform. Using Levo.Aero’s product suite, customers will also be able to use its AI tool for flight sourcing and empty leg flight optimization. According to Levo.Aero, the company’s SMARTInbox feature further enhances operations by streamlining back-office operations for subscribed operators.

Tecnam Expands Options For U.S. Customers

Tecnam announced a new suite of leasing and financing options for private owners, flight schools and fleet operators in the U.S. The new offerings are tailored for faster scaling, enhanced budget management and optimized fleet utilization, the company said. The program includes partnerships with U.S.-based leasing firms, such as Nesher Aviation, Wings leasing and Gracen Jules. Additionally, the program offers debt-based acquisition support through partnerships with AOPA Finance, Flying Finance and others.

Piper Aircraft Receives First U.S. Order For Seminole DX

Piper Aircraft announced its first domestic order of its Piper Seminole DX, a diesel-powered multi-engine trainer aircraft. The order, placed by Skyborne Airline Academy, includes five Seminole DX aircraft. The flight school previously joined the Piper Flight School Alliance in 2023 with the order of 11 Pilot 100i aircraft and has since expanded the order to more than 30 aircraft. According to Piper, the Seminole DX offers a 35% reduction in fuel burn, a 32% increase in single-engine climb rate and a 70% higher single-engine absolute ceiling.

Lithium Battery Upgrade For Gulfstream, Bombardier Jets Nearing STC Approval

True Blue Power, in partnership with 101 Aviation, is nearing FAA STC approval for lithium battery upgrades for Gulfstream and Bombardier business and regional jets. True Blue Power’s Gen5 TB50 and TB20 lithium-ion batteries are expected to become available for Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft beginning in the first quarter of 2026, with additional certifications to follow. The upgrade will offer an estimated average battery service cost of over $4,000 per year, the company said.

Textron Aviation’s Milwaukee service center celebrated its 35th anniversary on Oct. 6, 2025. For more than three decades, the location has offered services for Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker customers in the Midwestern region. The facility includes a 42,000 ft.² hangar capable of accommodating up to 24 aircraft.

EvoJets launched a mobile app, designed to streamline private charter booking. According to the company, the app offers instant global pricing, flexible booking options, secure document handling and itinerary management. It uses EvoJets’ charter flight cost calculator to factor in dynamic variables, such as peak travel days.

Bombardier Global 7500 Sets 150th Speed Record

Bombardier’s Global 7500 achieved its 150th speed record, averaging speeds over 1,000 kmh on 20 of its missions. The achievement marks the most speed records set by a single business aircraft type, Bombardier said. The aircraft features a top speed of Mach 0.925 and a baseline range of 7,700 nm.

PWI Gains LED Lighting Approval For Beechjet, Hawker Jets

Wichita-based PWI announced PMA approval of its LED cabin lighting system for Beechjet/Hawker 400A and 400XP light jets. The lighting system upgrade replaces fluorescent lights with LEDs using the aircraft’s original wiring and power supply, the company said. The system enables neutral white lighting, a 100,000-hour service life and adds no heat to the passenger cabin.

Textron Delivers Three Grand Caravan EX Aircraft To Belize

Textron Aviation announced delivery of three Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft to Tropic Air, a regional operator in Belize. Tropic Air was founded in 1979 as part of the country's developing tourism industry. According to Textron, 2025 marks the 40th anniversary of the Cessna Caravan’s first flight. Currently, over 3,100 Caravan and Grand Caravan aircraft have been delivered globally, the company says.

Thrive Aviation, a U.S. private aviation company, has doubled its managed fleet to 30 aircraft through its adoption of MySky’s financial automation platform. According to MySky, its platform facilitated faster monthly closes, reduced data entry errors and reduced receipt review time by half. Additionally, Thrive Aviation has reached more than $200,000 of vendor and procurement savings across its managed fleet, according to the company.

Tecnam, Green Aerolease Launch Dedicated Rental Program

Tecnam and Green Aerolease have partnered to launch a Tecnam aircraft rental program. The program is specifically tailored for flight schools with aging fleets by lowering upfront investments, Tecnam says. Aircraft available for rental include Tecnam’s P2008JC, P-Mentor, P2010 and P2006T NG. Green Aerolease has previously deployed more than 45 aircraft across seven European countries over the last four years.

Wipaire Delivers 200th Fire Boss Platform

Wipaire celebrated the delivery of its 200th Fire Boss aerial firefighting platform. The specialized upgrade adds an amphibious scooping system to Air Tractor AT-802 aircraft, enabling the collection of up to 820 gal. of water at a time. According to Wipaire, the system used by firefighting operators across North America, South America, Asia, Europe and Australia. The system was originally certified in 2003 but underwent “significant engineering upgrades” in 2025, the company said.

Luxaviation UK Adds Challenger 650 To Fleet

Luxaviation UK expanded its fleet with the addition of a Bombardier Challenger 650 for charter operations. The aircraft is based at the company’s facility at Farnborough Airport to connect London to destinations such as New York, Dubai and Lagos, according to the company. The Challenger 650 offers a range of up to 4,000 nm. and seats up to 12 passengers.

The restaurant features a curated menu by Chef Jeremy, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Additionally, the restaurant includes indoor and outdoor seating with views of the mountains, runway and ramp.
