Barbers Point Flight School Expands Fleet
Barbers Point Flight School, a flight training organization based in Oahu, Hawaii, is expanding its training fleet with two Tecnam P-Mentors, scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026, and the P2006T NG Sport, scheduled for delivery in early 2027. With the order, Barbers Point becomes the U.S. launch customer for the Tecnam P2006T Sport multi-engine aircraft. Barbers Point has operated from the John Rodgers Airfield since 2010. The school has about 140 active students and a waitlist of 91.

SkyNRG Begins SAF Plant Construction
SkyNRG has begun construction on its first sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant, DSL-01, at the Delfzijl chemical park in the north of the Netherlands. Once operational, the plant will produce 100,000 tons of SAF per year and 35,000 tons of sustainable by-products, including biobased propane, butane and naphtha, officials say. The project will strengthen the regional green industrial cluster. Obtaining the permits and completing project and financing agreements is the conclusion of a seven-year development process. Start-up is expected in mid-2028. The milestone demonstrates growing market confidence in scalable SAF production, SkyNRG says.
Omni Aircraft To Develop Gogo Galileo STC For Challenger 300/350/3500
Omni Aircraft Maintenance plans to develop a Gogo Galileo FDX Supplemental Type Certificate for the Challenger 300, 350 and 3500 aircraft as a response to demand, it said. Gogo Galileo will provide operators with global, high-speed inflight internet for business aircraft. It will leverage Eutelsat OneWeb’s Low-Earth Orbit satellite network. Certification is targeted for completion in August 2026.

Gama Aviation Earns EASA Approval For King Air Training
Gama Aviation has been awarded EASA Part 147 approval to provide maintenance training for the King Air series, which expands its scope of training. The approvals allow Gama Aviation to provide theoretical and practical training, conduct examinations and issue certificates on the Beech 200 and Beech 300 Series aircraft. The training will be provided at its facilities in Bournemouth, England, and Glasgow, Scotland.
APP Jet Center Reopens Following Remodel
APP Jet Center has reopened its FBO facility at the Treasure Coast International Airport in Fort Pierce, Florida, following remodeling of the FBO and restaurant. APP is experiencing increased domestic and international business aircraft traffic, it says.

Air Charter Service has opened an office in Brussels, marking its 41st office and its first in Belgium. The company chose Brussels because of its central geographic location and its two busy airports. It has worked closely with clients in Belgium for the last 40 years.
Schubach Aviation Expands Charter Fleet
Schubach Aviation, based in southern California, has added four charter aircraft to its fleet as the company grows. The aircraft include Gulfstream G650ER, two Citation Sovereigns and a Gulfstream G200. The company opened a New York office in May 2025. In 2020, it was acquired by Kimberly Herrell, its CEO.

Embraer-CAE Training Services To Add Simulator To Train Eve Pilots
Embraer-CAE Training Services, ECTS, a joint venture between Embraer and CAE, has purchased a CAE 3000 series full-flight simulator to train pilots for Eve Air Mobility. It is the first device delivered to ECTS after its selection in 2024 as Eve’s training provider and will be used to train Eve pilots. The simulator will also play a critical role in the certification process for Eve’s eVTOL aircraft.
Safran Passenger Innovations Has New Owner, New Name
Kingswood Capital Management has completed its acquisition of Safran Passenger Innovations, a provider of inflight entertainment, from Safran. Kingswood has renamed the company RAVE Aerospace. Matt Smith will continue to serve as CEO. The company is based in Brea, California.

ATP Flight School Takes Delivery Of Piper, Textron Aircraft
ATP Flight School, based in Jacksonville, Florida, has begun taking delivery of orders it has placed with Piper Aircraft and Textron Aviation for delivery in 2026. The flight school has more than 30 new aircraft scheduled to join its fleet this year. The first is a muti-engine Piper Seminole multi-engine aircraft equipped with Garmin’s G1000 NXi avionics, followed by the first of 27 Cessna 172 Skyhawks. In the past two years, ATP has added 144 new Skyhawks to its fleet. Orders for Cessna 172s extend to 2027. Its current fleet includes 658 aircraft.
CAE Renews Partnership With TAG Aviation
CAE has extended its partnership with TAG Aviation under a three-year agreement to train TAG Aviation pilots in Asia and Europe on a variety of aircraft types at its training centers in Dubai, Singapore, the UK, Vienna, the U.S. and Canada. The pilots will have access to CAE’s simulation technology and training programs. CAE will provide initial and recurrent training for pilots across Asia and Europe, it said. Training platforms include a number of Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault and Embraer jets.

ExecuJet Selected As Sole FBO At Sydney International Airport
ExecuJet, a subsidiary of the Luxaviation Group, has been appointed the sole fixed-base operator (FBO) at Sydney International Airport in Australia, following a multi-stage evaluation of international FBO operators. ExecuJet will be responsible for aircraft handling and coordination, passenger and crew services, ramp operations and concierge support. The mandate strengthens ExecuJet’s footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.

Rolland Vincent Associates To Launch New Service
Rolland Vincent Associates, a consultancy firm based in Plano, Texas, is launching a next-generation and market analysis service. Vincent’s JetNet iQ Report will be discontinued after the first quarter of 2026. Vincent will use the report as a foundation for the next generation of business aviation intelligence, he says, which is in the advanced stages of development and testing.

Greteman Group Has New Name—Alpha Charlie
The Greteman Group marketing agency in Wichita has a new owner and a new name—Alpha Charlie. In January 2026, Ashley Bowen Cook, the firm’s principal and CEO, completed the transition to owner of the firm, founded by Sonia Greteman in 1989. Cook joined the agency 23 years ago. The new name, Alpha Charlie, alludes to Cook’s initials and the company’s position in Wichita as the Air Capital. The Charlie in the name refers to Cook’s son, Charlie. Alpha Charlie specializes in aviation-related clients.

Air Charter Service Opens New, Larger Australian Office
Air Charter Service has opened a new and larger office space in Brisbane, Australia, to keep up with growth. The office is more than four times the size of its previous workspace. In the past four years, Air Charter Service has experienced growth and now has a team of nearly 20. Charter numbers have more than doubled that of 2024 results.

Tulsa-Based Omni Aircraft Maintenance Adds Hangar
Omni Aircraft Maintenance, based in Tulsa, has acquired a 40,000 ft.2 hangar at Tulsa International Airport to support increasing demand from operators and fleet customers. The expansion includes an additional 18,000 ft.2 of office and customer workspace to meet increasing demand for maintenance and avionics services. The new hangar will support single-aircraft operators and multi-aircraft fleets, the company says.

Straight Flight Now A HondaJet Service Center In Denver
Honda Aircraft Co. has added Straight Flight, based at the Centennial Airport in Denver, as a HondaJet Authorized Service Center, serving HondaJet aircraft based in the Northwest service region, including Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. Straight Flight’s operations include a 55,000 ft.2 of hangar space and 20,000 ft.2 of back-shop and support areas.

GetJet Aviation Holdings Rebrands To GetJet Group
GetJet Aviation Holdings, based in Lithuania, has rebranded as GetJet Group to simplify its structure, strengthen its brand and support its 2026 growth strategy. GetJet Group will operate through key entities, such as ACMI, GetJet Airlines and GetJet Airlines Malta, Airhub Aviation and Airhub Training. As part of its growth, GetJet Group plans to create 200 new jobs in four countries to support expanded flight operations and MRO capacity, the company said.

One Air Aviation Is Launch Customer For P2008JC NG In Spain
One Air Aviation, based in Spain, is the launch customer in Spain for Tecnam’s newly introduced P2008JC NG aircraft with an order for four. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026. One Air Aviation currently operates eight Tecnam P2008JC MkII Premium Edition and one P2006T MkII Premium Edition aircraft. The Next Generation edition of the aircraft features Rotax 912 iSc fuel-injection technology and a Garmin G3X Touch flight deck. One Air is the operator of the Tecnam P2008JC replica simulator, which Tecnam says is the only one like it in the world.

Tecnam Transitions To Factory Representation In India
Tecnam Aircraft is transitioning from a dealership network to a direct-to-factory relationship for all sales, service and spare parts support across India, Tecnam announced. As part of the restructuring, its dealership agreement with Air Taxi and its affiliated companies, including Art Aviation and Amanra FZC, has ended. The move was necessary to meet the demands of the maturing and growing training market in India, it said. The change brings customers direct access to Tecnam manufacturing and engineering teams in Italy, streamlined support and a single, unified sales channel.

ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium Earns FAA Approvals
ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has earned FAA approval to perform line maintenance, aircraft-on-ground support and base maintenance on U.S.-registered business aircraft. The approval complements the company’s EASA Part 145 certification and enables it to grow its services and expand its access to the U.S. business aviation market.

Air Charter Service Turns In Record Year
Aircraft charter broker Air Charter Service set a record for charter flights in 2025 with 35,467 flights arranged spanning 206 different countries, using 4,718 separate aircraft and 389 different types, the company said. Air Charter Service transported 437,368 passengers and using cargo aircraft transported nearly 90,000 tons of freight.

SmartJets, VIP Completions Report Strong 2025
Fort Lauderdale-based SmartJets, a business aircraft dealer and broker, and its sister company VIP Completions, a provider of customer aircraft completions and refurbishment services, ended 2025 with a successful conclusion, officials report. In 2025, SmartJets aided customers in acquiring or selling 13 business aircraft, which included six Gulfstream G550 transactions. That figure represents 8%, or six of 76 of all G550 transactions worldwide for the year, the company says.

Gama Aviation Adds Paint Shop In Gloucestershire
Gama Aviation has opened a dedicated rotorcraft paint shop at its Rotary Center of Excellence in Staverton, Gloucestershire. It offers aircraft refinishing, repainting and livery services to complement its Part 145 maintenance, avionics and interior modification services. Gama will initially support Leonardo AW169, AW139 and Airbus 145 aircraft.
