LAS VEGAS—Air-to-ground connectivity provider Apcela has launched a new dealer network and introduced a “Sign and Fly” incentives package to upgrade aircraft with its broadband system.

Apcela has completed upgrades to the air-to-ground (ATG) broadband system developed by SmartSky Networks, which ceased operations in August 2024. The network developer and manager based in Reston, Virginia, is co-exhibiting at NBAA-BACE (Booth 550) with its preferred dealers—Altus Aerospace, Brunswick Aviation Services, and Davinci Jet Services.

Altus Aerospace and Davinci Jet Services have in-house fleets with Apcela One and Dual ATG systems fitted on Bombardier Learjet, Cessna Citation, Beech King Air, and Pilatus aircraft. New installations of the One ATG system are in process with Altus Aerospace and Brunswick Aviation Services, which are outfitting two new customers operating Hawkers and Learjets, respectively.

“Our dealer partners are the cornerstone of Apcela’s expansion into business aviation,” said Kunal Thakkar, Apcela vice president of ATG market development. “They bring unmatched expertise in installation, integration, and customer support, ensuring every operator can experience true broadband performance in the air.”

Apcela’s Sign and Fly program includes incentives, rebates, and low-interest-rate financing designed to support business aircraft operators looking to upgrade their inflight connectivity.

“We’re removing the financial and logistical barriers that have historically slowed the adoption of next-generation inflight connectivity,” said Apcela CEO Mark Casey. “With our new dealer network and Sign and Fly programs, operators can now upgrade to high-speed ATG broadband with no compromise on performance, cost, or convenience.”
