SkyShare To Operate FBO Near Salt Lake City

SkyShare has been selected to operate the FBO and hangar at South Valley Regional Airport near Salt Lake City and lead its estate development. SkyShare plans to build 50 new hangars and remodel the FBO inside and out to offer an executive FBO with executive services, it said in a Facebook post. It also is now offering contract fuel.

DC Aviation Malta Opens Redesigned Facilities

DC Aviation Malta has opened redesigned private, premium passenger and crew facilities at the Malta International Airport with separate passenger and crew lounges, private restrooms, a meeting room and dedicated management and operations offices. The interior features natural materials and refined furnishings. The facility is located adjacent to Aprons 2 and 3 at the airport. During technical stops, passengers are able to remain in the lounge, just steps from the aircraft. DC Aviation Malta is a certified business and general aviation handling company and a division of Germany-based DC Aviation Group.

NetJets To Open Exclusive-Use Terminal At Augusta Airport

NetJets is adding a dedicated exclusive-use terminal for NetJets owners at the Augusta Regional Airport in Georgia. Construction is underway. The private ramp, which offers 432,000 ft.2 of space for aircraft parking is finished and foundational walls for the terminal are up, it says. The lounge will include private meeting spaces and services tailored to customers. For the year, NetJets flights at the Augusta Regional Airport increased 27% in 2025 compared to the year before. Its share of departures from the airport has grown to 23%. The new terminal is part of NetJets’ expansion at key U.S. airports, it notes.

Southern Sky Aviation Opens U.S. Customs Facility

Southern Sky Aviation, an FBO based in Pascagoula, Mississippi, has opened a U.S. Customs facility, expanding international access as a designated point of entry at Trent Lott International Airport. Southern Sky offers on-site customs clearance and participates in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Reimbursable Services Program. Construction is also underway on 121,500 ft.2 of additional ramp space, which includes a second connector point for fuel transfer.

Haven Aviation Services Opens Amarillo FBO

Haven Aviation Services Group in Amarillo, Texas, has opened a newly constructed, full-service FBO at the Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport. The terminal features passenger and crew lounges, contemporary conference rooms with seating for 12 people, private workspaces and a dedicated line service team. It also has direct access to Haven MRO, an on-site maintenance provider. It also offers rest areas, a massage chair, shower facilities and a pilot lounge. The FBO includes 35,000 ft.² of hangar space. The Haven FBO joins Haven Aero, a Part 135 charter and aircraft management operation, and Haven MRO to provide a comprehensive approach to aviation support, officials say.

APP Jet Center Reopens In Fort Pierce, Florida

APP Jet Center has reopened its FBO facility at the Treasure Coast International Airport in Fort Pierce, Florida, following remodeling of the FBO and restaurant. APP is experiencing increased domestic and international business aircraft traffic, it says.

EBAA Cancels EBACE Geneva Bizav Show, Citing Lack Of Interest. The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has canceled the 2026 edition of the EBACE business aviation convention and exhibition, which was scheduled to take place June 2-4 in Geneva. The announcement, less than two months before the event had been scheduled to start, comes after three years of efforts to renew the show’s format. EBAA and U.S. counterpart NBAA had been co-organizing the event since it was first held in 2001, until EBAA continued on its own from the 2025 edition. EBAA is still working on a 2027 edition for EBACE.

Vertical Aerospace Secures $850M Conditional Financing Package. Vertical Aerospace has secured a conditional financing package worth up to $850 million, providing the U.K.-based eVTOL developer with a potential lifeline as it works toward certification of its Valo aircraft.

NetJets Takes Delivery Of First Of 24 Global 8000s. NetJets, the fleet launch customer for Bombardier’s Global 8000 ultra-long-range jet, took delivery of the first of 24 Global 8000s it has on order during a ceremony on March 25 at Bombardier’s Laurent Beaudoin Completion Center in Dorval, Quebec. The aircraft, registered as N194QS, flew from Montreal to Columbus, Ohio, later that day.  NetJets will also work with Bombardier to upgrade its fleet of in-service Global 7500 aircraft to Global 8000 jets, the company said.

China Conducts First Ground Test Of Hydrogen-Fueled AEP100 Variant. China has conducted the first ground test of a hydrogen-fueled variant of the AEP100 turboprop, marking the country’s first megawatt-class hydrogen-powered aerospace engine. Chinese state-linked media outlet Science and Technology Daily reported the test was carried out by Aero Engine Corporation of China through its Hunan Aviation Powerplant Research Institute. The trial validated operation of the liquid hydrogen delivery system and demonstrated stable engine performance across operating conditions.
