SC Aviation has acquired Heartland Aviation, based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, a provider of aircraft management, charter and maintenance services. The move expands SC Aviation’s presence across western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis-St. Paul region and enhances its capabilities throughout the Upper Midwest, the company says.
Heartland Aviation, founded in 1961, will continue to operate under its name.
“We’re excited to welcome Heartland Aviation’s team and customers into the SC Aviation family,” said Adam Singer, SC Aviation vice president and general manager. “Heartland Aviation has built a strong reputation in the Eau Claire region, and this acquisition allows us to combine that local expertise with SC Aviation’s resources and network to better serve our customers throughout the Upper Midwest.”
In the coming months, SC Aviation plans to expand services by adding additional aircraft at the Eau Claire location. SC Aviation was founded in 1946 and celebrates its 80th anniversary. It provides aircraft charter, aircraft management, maintenance and consulting services. It is a division of Colony Brands.
