The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) is seeking to highlight members work in helping to deliver COVID-19 vaccines.

NATA also aims to help connect aviation businesses with state leaders to expand the industry’s participation in vaccine efforts.

To that end, NATA is urging members of the business and general aviation industry to let it know how they are helping with distribution. It also wants to aid those wanting to offer services to state and local government officials, the association said.

Aviation businesses are delivering vaccines to rural communities, hosting vaccination clinics at general aviation airports and making a difference, NATA says. But the channel remains largely underutilized.

“But we need your help,” NATA said. “We look forward to shining a spotlight on how general aviation businesses advance their communities and helping to foster relationships that move the country forward.”
