The 2026 Special Olympics Airlift, organized by Textron Aviation, flew athletes and coaches back to their respective communities across the country June 27 after competing in the Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota.
Owners and operators of about 130 Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft donated their aircraft, pilots and fuel to bring about 800 athletes and coaches back home after conclusion of the Special Olympics Games. Volunteers flew them on to the Games on June 19. The aircraft departed St. Paul Downtown Airport.
