Randy Ball flies an afterburner pass in his MiG-17. Ball is the only demo pilot, either military or civilian, to be granted both a day and night “unlimited aerobatic” rating in jet fighters by the FAA. Ball has flown more than 14,000 airshow performances. He has more than 18,000 flight hr., including 1,800 hr. in Russian fighter jets.

The Aeroshell Aerobatic Team performs during the night air show. The team flies the North American AT-6 Texan, nicknamed “The Pilot Maker” for its use as a basic trainer for the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
