Four World War II-era Grumman fighters took flight together at Oshkosh for a historic flyover at the 2022 AirVenture. The flyover consisted of (clockwise from upper left) an F7F Tigercat, F8F Bearcat, F4F Wildcat and the F6F Hellcat.

The U.S. Navy named its fighters after cats from World War II through the 1970s.

Several made appearances in the flight demonstrations at Oshkosh.
