Raytheon will upgrade test equipment for the AIM-120 Amraam at six military ranges, the U.S. Air Force announced Oct. 30.

The Air Dominance Division Development Branch at Eglin AFB, Florida announced the sole-source selection for upgrading 14 Amraam Remote Support Equipment (ARSE) systems.

“The contractor shall integrate the necessary software for full ARSE functionality,” the Air Force says in a special notice posted on FedBizOpps.com.

The software upgrade will bring the ARSE system up to date with the Windows 10 operating system, as well as evolving information assurance and security guidelines.
