IATA DG Tony Tyler visited Cuba in November to mark the 70th anniversary of IATA, which was formed in the Hotel Nacional, Havana. He met with heads of Cuba’s commercial aviation and tourism authorities and the CEO of Cubana. He hosted a celebratory dinner in the Hotel Nacional and saw the commemorative plaque marking IATA’s creation.
