DUBAI—Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) will install a second full-flight simulator (FFS) for Boeing 737 MAX training at its facility in Dubai.

Canada-based training services provider CAE, which operates the ECFT as a joint venture with Emirates, said the 7000XR series FFS will be installed by the end of 2022 and support pilot training for flydubai, which is owned by the Dubai government.

Flydubai, which launched in 2009, operates an all-737 fleet. The carrier has about 15 MAXs in service and almost 200 on order.

The 7000XR FFS is a level D standard simulator, the highest regulatory standard, with a CAE Tropos 6000XR visual system.
