Mitsubishi MRJ Completes Latest Round Of Flight Tests

On the first test flight, the MRJ’s pilots left the landing gear and flaps extended. For the second, seen here, they retracted the landing gear.

During the third flight, the crew retracted the flaps. These tests have been flown from Nagoya Airport. Most flight testing will be done in the U.S., beginning next year. The first delivery of the MRJ is due in the second quarter of 2017.

The Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) has completed a second and third round of flight testing from Nagoya Airport.
