Aircompany Armenia and its partner company, cargo startup Georgian Airlines, have ordered three 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF).

The deal, announced at the Farnborough Airshow July 18, covers the modification of the 737-800s at Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company (GAMECO) and Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering (STAECO) in China.

The first 737-800BCF will be delivered in 2023, with deliveries continuing into 2024. The converted freighters will be operated by Georgian Airlines.

Georgian Airlines was established in 2020 and is based in Tbilisi, beginning operations in April 2021 with one 737-800BCF and one 737-800SF. The carrier, like Aircompany Armenia, is part of Georgian Airlines Group.
