Aircraft tracking system provider Blue Sky Network on Nov. 20 announced FAA certification of its autonomous distress tracking (ADT) device on Boeing 737 airliners.

Aircalin, a carrier based in Noumea, in the French territory of New Caledonia, has stopped operating one of its two Airbus A330neos after reporting repeated odor issues in the cabin.

South Pacific-based Fiji Airways presented its first of two Airbus A350-900 XWBs during the delivery ceremony at the Airbus facility in Toulouse. Fiji Airways has become the first airline from the South Pacific region to take delivery of the A350, which will operate on routes to Los Angeles and Sydney.
