In December 2023, Japan Airlines (JAL) took delivery of its first of 13 Airbus A350-1000s, which is set to become the Japanese flag carrier’s new international aircraft. The Airspace cabin is configured in four classes—six first-class suites, 54 business-class suites, plus 24 premium economy and 155 economy seats.
JAL’s A350-1000 cabin has been designed to make passengers immerse in the elegance of Japanese aesthetics and tranquility. JAL will launch the new cabin product on the Tokyo Haneda-New York JFK route from Jan. 24 and Tokyo Haneda–Dallas/Fort Worth route after receiving the third aircraft.
