<p>Credit: flydubai</p>In line with trends seen in Europe and Africa, the Middle East is seeing more base, line and component maintenance outsourced by airlines, Kai-Stefan Roepke, Lufthansa Technik’s VP corporate sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa told Aviation Week in April 2021.
Flydubai is expanding its operations in Europe, adding Malta and Salzburg to its network, as well as resuming flights to the Italian cities of Catania and Naples. A return for flydubai’s 14 Boeing 737 MAXs remains unclear and depends on the recertification of the aircraft by UAE authorities...
