WORLD ROUTES 2011: Air Canada Brings More Flights to Toronto

Offerings from Toronto Pearson to some international, long-haul destinations with Air Canada will be greatly improved this winter as the flag carrier adds new services and increases aircraft capacity in response to demand from its passengers.

Effective December 12, service between Bogota and Toronto will increase from four to five flights weekly, on board the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. In 2010, this service was only offered three times a week. Services between Toronto and Buenos Aires, via Santiago, Chile will be increasing from five flights weekly to adaily service beginning December 19.

Air Canada will also be increasing capacity on its Toronto to Tokyo Narita route this winter. They will be upgauging to a Boeing 777-300ER which will allow more passengers to take advantage of this popular route.
