WAW in new incentive package
Warsaw F. Chopin Airport has presented its new initiative - "The Programme of marketing co-operation with air carriers in 2009", which involves undertaking joint marketing activities between airlines and Warsaw Airport.
The programme envisages co-financing by PPL of carriers' advertising projects within the offered packages as well providing airlines with access to advertising media being at PPL's disposal on preferential terms or in a barter system.
"We hope that as a result of our joint efforts a lot of potential passengers will be informed of the services provided by the airlines, which will help develop air traffic in Warsaw. The programme was introduced with the aim of undertaking joint marketing activities by way of promoting flights to and from Warsaw Airport" - said Jakub Mielniczuk, the spokesman for "Polish Airports" State Enterprise.
Airlines may engage in joint marketing activities with Warsaw Airport under 2 packages:
• Basic Package (available in three variants: MAXI, MIDI, MINI), addressed to carriers of crucial importance to Warsaw F. Chopin Airport;
• Growth Package addressed to new operators of scheduled passenger flights who launch services on new routes, increase frequency on existing routes or intend to use an aircraft of greater MTOW and/or number of seats.
