Volcano; Carrier Update

Airlines are beginning to resume services throughout Europe today; Some of these carriers include;

Icelandair- Will this afternoon operate its Reykjavik-London Heathrow service.

Lufthansa plans to operate all long haul services, Intra-European and Domestic Germany flights will also be operated but some flights during the day are being canceled. Number of delays also expected.

Air China will resume Beijing - Stockholm service on 20APR10, service operates with Boeing 777. This is in addition to 2 round-trip to Moscow and 1 one-way trip from Rome that the airline plans to operate.

British Airways has announced on 20APR10 (Tuesday), it is cancelling all Short-haul flights (Europe and Domestic). Original plan was selected flights departing London after 1900LT would be operating.

On long-haul flights, BA hopes to operate service departing London after 1600LT, but pending on air space restrictions.

Most of Emirates' European service are resuming today (20APR10), however some flights will see some delays. Following service are being canceled or rescheduled. Note these are subject to change:

Gulf Air today (20APR10) resumes European service. It is to operate 1 flight each on Bahrain - London Heathrow and Bahrain - Paris CDG. Service to Frankfurt would resume on 21APR10.
