VLM Airlines ups London City–Eindhoven
VLM Airlines will introduce flights from London City Airport to Eindhoven in the Netherlands in January. The service was previously operated by VLM Airlines’ partner Cityjet with Dornier 328 aircraft. Now the The daily flights will be operated with Fokker 50 turboprop aircraft, representing a capacity increase of 418 seats a week on the route.
Said VLM Airlines managing director, Johan Vanneste: “Our regular services to Amsterdam and Rotterdam are already very popular with London business travellers, and we expect our new route to Eindhoven will become well established within a short period of time.”
Joost Meijs, CEO of Eindhoven Airport added: “Both London City Airport and Eindhoven Airport are regularly used by a great deal of business passengers and the route fits in perfectly within the Brainport thought, which promotes the connection of business destinations.”
