THAI Plans New Product Launch from August 2012 on new 777s

Based on latest GDS inventory and seat map update*, Star Alliance member Thai Airways International is to introduce new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on Bangkok - Tokyo Narita TG642/643 service, starting 16AUG12.

THAI is due to receive first 2 of 14 Boeing 777-300ER it has on order (via operating lease) this year, which seats 348 - 42 Royal Silk Class and 306 Economy Class seats (photo of the configuration is available on Airline Route website). The inflight product is near-identical to the forthcoming Airbus A380 aircraft, due to be delivered Fall 2012. Recent Thai Airways' presentation has included photos of the new inflight product on A380.
