Sydney hails Delta’s new route

Sydney Airport has described Delta’s announcement of a new service from Atlanta to Sydney (via Los Angeles) as a “strong vote of confidence” in the airport and Sydney’s aviation market.

CEO of Sydney Airport, Russell Balding, said: “Delta’s decision shows again that Sydney is an attractive destination for international carriers. This is a real win for Sydney. It will boost tourism to Sydney and provides travellers with more choice when travelling between North America and Australia.”
