Southwest adds Denver routes

The world’s largest low-cost airline, Southwest Airlines has announced that from June 5th, 2011 it will begin non-stop services to Colombus, Ohio. It will compete on the route with Star Alliance member United Airlines. It will also add services to Jacksonville, Florida, a route with no existing service. Finally, Dallas-headquarted Southwest will begin a new scheduled services to Pittsburgh, a route also served by United Airlines. All new routes will be operated on a daily basis.
