Skymark Airlines back in the black
Skymark Airlines has said it will return to profit next fiscal year after it hands back its final two leased Boeing 767s.
President Shinichi Nishikubo said the airline should return to profitability in 2009 with a net profit of $28 million after it cuts costs from leasing the carriers.
Skymark will return its last 270-seat plane in November completing the conversion of its fleet to 177-seat planes.
