Singapore Airlines Adjusts Middle East Flights in Winter
Singapore Airlines starting 28OCT12 is adjusting its Middle East operation. The Star Alliance member will cancel service to Abu Dhabi (previously reported), while keeping flights to Dubai, Jeddah and Riyadh.
On Singapore - Dubai service, the airline will maintain 10 weekly flights, which 3 of them will continue on to Cairo, on board Airbus A330-300. The A330-300 will replace Boeing 777-200.
Flights to Saudi Arabia will be consolidated to Singapore - Riyadh - Jeddah, 3 times a week with A330-300. It currently operates 3 weekly each on Singapore - Abu Dhabi - Jeddah and Singapore - Dubai - Riyadh sector.
