Ryanair adds Faro base

Fresh from announcing its 38th base in Malaga, Ryanair has moved quickly to secure a second Iberian base in a day, with three new B737-800 aircraft to be based in the Algarve in Faro.

14 new routes will be opened doubling the amount of destinations currently offered from Faro, the routes will be inaugrated from next March. New destinations will be

• Billund
• Birmingham
• Derry
• Eindhoven
• Kerry
• Knock
• Madrid
• Marseille
• Maastricht
• Milan Bergamo
• Oslo Rygge
• Paris Beauvais
• Stockholm Skavsta.

The move will make Ryanair by far the leading carrier in terms of weekly seats offered in Faro. Currently the top 5 carriers are
