In a little over three weeks time, Europe’s aviation community will meet at Routes Europe, taking place 6-8 April. Over 110 Airlines are expected to attend Routes Europe in 2014 and already 223 airline delegates representing over 109 carriers have registered to attend the event confirming that this year is set to the biggest gathering yet of Europe’s key decision makers.
Now in its 9th year, Routes Europe is the only network planning forum for the entire European region and the 2014 event, hosted by Marseille Provence Airport, will take placein Marseille, the picturesque regional capital of Southern France. Routes Europe brings together over 1,000 delegates from airports, airlines, tourism authorities and other industry stakeholders from across Europe to discuss air service development.
The event revolves around pre-scheduled Face-to-Face Meetings and with around 6,000 route development meetings taking place over three days the event offers an unrivalled platform for airlines and airports to do business face to face with the key decision makers in the industry.
Carriers from all sectors will be well represented in Marseille with Low Cost Carriers easyJet, Wizz Air, Germanwings, Transavia and Volotea amongst those registered to attend. For airports wishing to meet with European network carriers, attendees include Air France, British Airways, Iberia, Lufthansa and Alitalia whilst out of region presence comes from American Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Turkish Airlines, S7 Airlines and WestJet. There are currently 472 airport delegates registered to attend representing almost 350 airports from across Europe and beyond including recent registrations from Kazan Airport, Airports of Montenegro, Sharjah Airport Authority, Osijek Airport, Grenoble & Chambery Airports, Bogota - El Dorado International Airport and first time attendee T.F. Green Airport, Rhode Island.
