Routes Asia Strategy Forum Programme Unveiled

Routes Asia is the only route development forum for the Asia region and the 2012 event is taking place 15-17 April in Chengdu, China. The Routes Asia Strategy Forum will open the event on the afternoon of Sunday 15th April and will give all delegates a valuable insight into aviation across the region.

During the forum, which is open to all Routes Asia delegates, a panel of leading industry experts will take part in a number of moderator led discussions addressing aviation and route development issues affecting Asia.

Session one; China – The Holy Grail will discuss how to do network development in China, what the rewards are and how large the market opportunity in China is.

India’s Challenges will be the subject of session two and will cover how India is opening up to the world whilst asking whether market regulations are stifling opportunities. Finally the discussion will look at what needs to change to ensure India takes its place on the world stage .

The third and final session; Good Times and Bad will attempt to answer how to cope with traffic downturns following economic and natural disasters? How to beat cyclical markets and what marketing tactics can be employed to stimulate traffic? Can social media play a role?

The Forum, a key element of the event, promises to be both stimulating and enjoyable and with moderators encouraging debate between panellists and members of the audience it should not be missed.
