ROUTES ASIA: Registrations Indicate Largest Routes Asia Ever!

Routes Asia 2012 is shaping up to be the largest Routes Asia event ever with first time attendees, high level delegates, new exhibitors, Route Exchange Briefings and much, much more. Here are just some of the recent registration highlights.

There are now 74 airlines registered to attend Routes Asia in Chengdu, more than ever before at this stage. The list of registered airlines includes carriers from the Middle East and Europe as well as a strong Chinese presence. There are over 100 airline delegates registered to attend the event in Chengdu, the latest airlines to register include Garuda Indonesia, Qantas and Spring Airlines, whose CEO Ms Xiuzhi Zhang will also deliver on of the keynote address presentations at the event’s Strategy Forum.

Other airlines registered to attend include all the major Chinese carriers; Air China, China Southern, Hainan Airlines and China Eastern along with representation from Japan in All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines and, new low-cost carrier, AirAsia Japan who will attend the event for the first time. The event will also see a strong participation from the Middle East with delegates from Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines, another first time attendee at Routes Asia.

A strong low-cost carrier presence is also confirmed with confirmed registrations from Jetstar Airways, Tiger Airways and IndiGo and interest from beyond the region for development into Asia with registrations from Finnair, British Airways and American Airlines. Airport attendees include a strong participation from China with, amongst others, Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Qingdao Liu Ting International Airport, Nanjing Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport all registered for the event. There will also be a large non-regional presence in Chengdu with representatives from Brussels Airport, Copenhagen Airport, Helsinki Airport, Vancouver Airport and first time attendees; Aéroports de Lyon SA, Bordeaux Airport, Rome Fiumicino Airport and Winnipeg Airports Authority. Other Airports who will attend for the first time include Alice Springs Airport and Qingdao Liu Ting International Airport.

These are just some of the companies who have already registered to attend Routes Asia in Chengdu and with more confirmations begin received each day the list can only get better!
