Routes Asia opens in Chengdu

The 10th Routes Asia opened yesterday to an interesting and debate on some of the key topics impacting the aviation business in the Asian region. Delegates enjoyed an insightful introduction to aviation in Chengdu and the wider Sichuan province and learnt about key issues impacting the aviation markets in both China and India, the region's two fastest expanding markets.

The Strategy Forum preceded the Welcome Reception, where delegates were able to sample local hospitality. Today will mark the start of the formal on-to-one meetings and it is worth remembering once again the important role that air services play in maintaining global connectivity.
