ROUTES AMERICAS: The Airline Viewpoint on Network Development

Delegates will be able to gain an insight into the planning structure of airlines, their markets of interest and the relevant information that airlines need to deliver new routes during a series of Route Exchange briefings at this year’s Routes Americas.

Senior route development officials from four airlines and a leading global tour operator will brief the event audience on their network development strategy and what they want to see in an airport approach providing the opportunity for Airport and Tourism Authority delegates to gain an insight into the planning structure of the companies.

TAM LINHAS AEREAS
Ahead of the merger with LAN Airlines and focusing on all of the Americas, Alfred Zwerdling, Network Tactical Planning for TAM Linhas Aereas, will outline the Brazilian carrier’s strategy for growth across the Americas.

Keith Hansen, Director Airports for US low-cost carrier Allegiant Air will discuss how the carrier is looking at international markets for potential future expansion.

Sabine Reim, Network Development Manager for the Americas will deliver a briefing discussing the network strategy to the Americas region of the UK carrier, a first time Routes Americas attendee, and how airports should approach the airline.

Ben Munson, Network Planning for Alaska Airlines Group will discuss how and where Alaskan plan to grow their network.
