Routes Americas 2012: Route Exchange Briefings Planned

Route Exchange, part of Routesonline, is the online trading zone for new routes; it allows airlines the opportunity to request data and proposals from airports, whilst airports receive updates and invitations to send proposals for new airline service. Route Exchange contains profiles and in-depth information for both airlines and airports and gives airports a unique insight into the planning strategy of key airlines in the Americas and provides a trusted platform to deliver a new route proposal directly to the network planning team of the airlines requesting the data.

Route Exchange Live takes the online product into Routes events by giving airlines the opportunity to promote their brand to their target airport market as well as allowing airlines to educate a select audience of airports on their requirements for potential new service and additional frequency. Routes Americas in Santo Domingo earlier this year saw Route Exchange Briefings from Southwest Airlines, TAM Linhas Aereas, Insel Air and WestJet Airlines and building on the success of these briefings even more are planned for the 2012 event in Nassau next February.

We are pleased to be able to confirm that British Airways will be one of the airlines making a presentation in Nassau. The airline currently flies to 41 points in the North American/Caribbean market and Sabine Reim, Head of Planning for Americas at British Airways, will talk about how the airline is focusing its expansion into the Americas.
