Routes Americas 2012: Record Numbers Anticipated

Routes Americas 2012 was officially launched only four weeks ago and already it is shaping up to be the largest Routes Americas event ever with first time attendees, high level delegates, new exhibitors, Route Exchange Briefings and much, much more. Here are just some of the recent registration highlights.

There are now around 50 airlines registered to attend Routes Americas in Nassau, more than ever before at such an early stage. The list of registered airlines includes carriers from Latin America and Europe as well as a strong North American presence.

LAN Airlines Group, TAM Linhas Aereas and Gol Transportes Aéreos, the top three Latin American based carriers, have already confirmed their attendance along with European carriers British Airways, attending Routes Americas for the time, and Condor Airlines who both have a clear growth strategy in the Americas. There will also be strong attendance from the US and Canada with registrations received from airlines such as Air Transat, WestJet Airlines, American Airlines, US Airways and Spirit Airlines.

Airport attendees include Nashville International Airport who will return to the event for the first time since 2008 and Delhi International Airport, another first time attendee. Other recent airport registrations include Houston Airports, Detroit Metro Airport and Aruba Airport Authority. A strong attendance from tourism authorities is also expected, with registrations already received from Cartagena Tourist Board, Jamaica Tourist Board and Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority amongst others.

These are just some of the companies who have registered early for next year’s event and with eleven weeks to go we expect even more exciting names to register soon.
