Routes Americas 2012: High Level Speakers for Strategy Forum

Integrated with Routes Americas in 2012 and open to all attending delegates will be the Routes Americas Strategy Forum which will form one of the key elements of the event. This enjoyable and stimulating event will give a valuable insight into aviation across the region.

A panel of leading industry experts will take part in moderator led discussions addressing aviation and route development issues across the Americas and many high level speaker and panellists have already confirmed their attendance.

Session 1 which will be led by Minister Richard Skerrit, Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation will explore Taxation - the real cost to the economy and the impact on the aviation industry. Mr Eric Oberhuber, Head of Planning & International Relations for Condor Airlines and Mr Estuardo Robles, CEO of Ciudad Aeropuerto will take part as panellists.

Mr Eduardo Ferreira, Special Advisor to the President of Infraero-Brazilian Airports and Mr Jaime Daly, CEO of Latin American Airport Holding (LAAH) will take part in the session discussing Airport Privatisation – short term expectations, long term investment and lessons learnt from across the globe.

The State of the American Market, which will cover the entire Americas region will include Mr Maurício Emboaba Moreira, Senior Strategic Advisor from GOL Transportes Aereos and Mr Nicolas Rhoads, Senior VP Commercial Planning for Aeromexico among others on the panel. There will also be a further session which will discuss Cargo Challenges and several more panelists will be added to the programme over the coming months.

The Forum, which will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 19th February, promises to be a lively event with moderators encouraging debate between the panellists and members of the audience.
