Pegasus increases German business with new Air Berlin link

Turkey's Pegasus Airlines is entering a partnership agreement with Germany's Air Berlin to increase charter traffic between their two countries

Air Berlin has recently begun cutting routes to Western Europe but according to reports from Germany the two airlines will be dedicating two aircraft to routes between Turkey and Germany.

The move makes use of exess aircraft capacity that Air Berlin has and will take effect in November. The two airlines already have a codeshare agreement on a number of scheduled flights including Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir connections to Dusseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Munich and Berlin
