Pegasus adds second destination in Georgia with flights to Batumi

Pegasus Airlines has launched scheduled flights between Istanbul and Batumi starting on 8 October. This new international destination was announced at a launch held at Istanbul's Radisson Blu hotel in Batumi

Chairman of Pegasus Airlines, Ali Sabanci said: “We have made flying more accessible in this region for our guests by widening our flight network in the Caucasus, Europe, the Middle East and the Balkans. With the potential and opportunities that they hold for Pegasus, the Caucasus, Middle East, and the Balkans are a priority for us.

“As 2011’s fastest growing airline we are aiming to continue expanding in the same vein.”

Pegasus guests can make international connections from Batumi to Almaty, Beirut, Copenhagen, Cyprus, Donetsk, Dubai, Kharkiv, Köln, Krasnodar, London, Marseille, Omsk, Tehran and Tel Aviv and can also make connections to Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Batman, Bodrum, Dalaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, İzmir, Kayseri, Konya, Malatya, Samsun, Sivas, Şanlıurfa and Trabzon in Turkey.
