British Airways / bmi to Start Codeshare Service
British Airways from 05APR12 is launching codeshare service on flights operated by bmi, just days after the European Commission approved International Airline Group's acquisition of bmi. Initially the ‘BA’ code will appear on bmi service to Central Asia, Middle East and Africa, including Addis Ababa, Almaty, Baku, Beirut, Bishkek, Freetown, Khartoum, Tbilisi and Yerevan.

Adria Airways Celebrates 20 Years of Swiss Connection
Slovenian national carrier and Star Alliance member Adria Airways last week celebrated the 20th anniversary of its flights between Ljubljana and Zurich, a route that has been a key generator of enhanced economic ties between the two countries. The airline launched flights on the route on March 29, 1992 and is now providing up to three flights per day.

Air France Adds 4th Daily Rotation to Prague from June
Air France starting 04JUN12 is introducing 4th daily rotation on Paris CDG - Prague service, offering mid-morning departure from Paris CDG and late-morning from Prague, on board Airbus A319 aircraft. Together with Skyteam member CSA Czech Airlines, it'll offer a total of 7 daily flights on this route.

Turkish Airlines Ramps up Iraq Service from April
Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines is boosting its operation in Iraq, which sees service operating to Baghdad and Erbil via Ankara and/or Antalya for the first time. Boeing 737-800 aircraft are assigned to operate on these new flights.
