New carrier to serve Singapore

Indonesian private carrier Betavia Air has launched new scheduled service to Singapore from two if its home bases of Jakarta and Semarang. The carrier is the latest new entrant into the Singapore market which has seen a whole host of carriers enter this year. The Jakarta Singapore route is a heavily served route, with already twelve carriers operating between the city pairs.
