Monarch Airlines launch new services to Turkey and Egypt

UK leisure carrier Monarch Airlines will launch services from London Gatwick and Manchester to destinations in Turkey and Egypt under its 2012 summer schedule.

The carrier will begin twice-weekly flights from Gatwick to Antalya in Turkey and thrice-weekly flights to Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt on 3 May.

It will also begin an 11-weekly service from Gatwick to Dalaman in Turkey on 26 April.

From Manchester, Monarch will begin daily Dalaman flights and twice-weekly Sharm el-Sheikh services on 1 and 3 May, respectively.

Commenting on the launch of Summer 2012 flights and the new routes, managing director of Monarch Airlines, Kevin George said, “We are delighted to have our Summer 2012 flights on sale so early, which provides customers with the opportunity to plan ahead and grab a great deal to their favourite sunshine destinations.

“The addition of new scheduled services to Turkey and Egypt also supports Monarch’s shift to focusing on scheduled flying and enables more customers to take advantage of our innovative ‘build your own class’ service, which gives them the ability to tailor their flight package to their exact requirements, providing a greater sense of freedom and personalisation. As well as benefiting from a fantastic value fare, customers can also select from a range of optional extras such as extra legroom seating and pre-ordered meals, all of which are perfectly suited for longer flight durations such as Turkey and Egypt”.

Monarch’s scheduled flights are available to book until October 2012. Customers now booking flights will also benefit from zero debit card fees and a fixed fee for all credit card bookings, regardless of the transaction value or number of people travelling.
