LAN to serve SFO

LAN Airlines will be the first carrier to begin direct services between Lima (its hub) and San Francisco.

The new service will come into operation from July 1st and be operated on a four-times weekly rotation using B767-300s.

IATA BSP data (Airport IS) demonstrates that over 23,000 passengers flew the route between Oct 08-09 with American Airlines carrying the majority of passengers through its Miami hub.
