LAN Airlines Moves Forward Planned 787 Los Angeles Service

LAN Airlines on 24OCT12 has adjusted its planned Boeing 787 operation, which sees the removal of scheduling discrepancies. Planned Boeing 787 service to Los Angeles will now begins from 01JAN13, instead of Feb 2013*.

From 31JAN13, Boeing 787 operates LA600/601 on daily basis.
*Previously, LA600 shows 767 daily service and LA601 3 weekly 787 + 4 weekly 767 for the month of January 2013

By 31JAN13, all service to Los Angeles will be operated by Boeing 787. On separate note, sister site Airline Route on 02OCT12 reported that Lima – Guayaquil service sees Boeing 787 operation once a week based on info listed in LAN’s inventory. This appears to be a “dummy flight”, which has been removed from the airline’s system.
